Hammond 'round table' with Deloitte for mid-tier legal firms 23/04/2009
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and this was especially true for managing partners at Scotland’s mid tier legal firms on Monday 27th April.
With support from professional services giant Deloitte, legal recruitment specialist Hammond, part of Rise Group, hosted a breakfast seminar in Glasgow, aimed specifically at the legal sector.
Entitled, “Perspectives on the Legal World in 2009 – the advisors’ view,” it provided an insight into some of the major challenges the profession faces and the opportunities the current climate throws up.
Starting at 8:00am, the seminar, held in Viva at 77 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, got to grips with what lies ahead. Guests were be able to pick the brains of James Baird, Deloitte’s managing partner for Scotland, who was co-presenting at the seminar with Eddie Docherty, Hammond's Head of Legal and Mike McGregor, an audit partner and legal specialist with Deloitte, who shared his opinions of the major issues and opportunities in the legal market in an insightful presentation packed full of both personal and corporate observations.
